How You Can Help

Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome volunteers for a variety of roles during our weekly sessions. No special experience is needed — just a warm heart and a willingness to engage.

Help participants explore creative expression through painting, drawing, and mixed media projects.

Lead or assist with singing, rhythm exercises, and light instrument activities.

Help prepare and serve healthy snacks during program breaks — always a popular part of the day.

Presidential Volunteer Award

High school students who complete 100 volunteer hours within one year at FFDY may qualify for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award — a nationally recognized honor for outstanding community service.

Volunteering with FFDY also fulfills many high schools' community service hour requirements. We provide signed documentation for your records.
